World Homeless Day Art Exhibition Community Reception

World Homeless Day is observed on October 10, with the goal of preventing and ending homelessness, as well as to alleviate the suffering of those experiencing it.

To commemorate this day, Ajax Public Library, in partnership with the Gap Committee and the LivingRoom Community Art Studio, is hosting an Art Exhibition and Community Reception. The theme of the exhibit is "Hope".

The artwork will be on display at Main Branch in the Rotary Room from October 2–24. Drop by the Community Reception on Friday, October 24, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The reception will include art-making activities, interactive booths, and presentations from persons experiencing or who have experienced homelessness.
