The Library is a central meeting place in the community. Library meeting rooms are made available to the general public for a fee when not being used for Library purposes.

Capacity: 30
Includes Kitchen Access
$150 for up to 4 hours;
$300 for up to 8 hours;
$50/hour for each subsequent hour.
Rotary Room A
Capacity: 15
Includes Kitchen Access
$100 for up to 4 hours;
$200 for up to 8 hours;
$35/hour for each subsequent hour. 
Rotary Room B
Capacity: 15
No Kitchen Access
$80 for up to 4 hours;
$160 for up to 8 hours;
$25/hour for each subsequent hour.

 

Conditions for Library Room Rentals

Please review the Facility Rental Policy and Facility Rental Agreement prior to contacting the Library about availability. 

The purpose of the policy is to support the Library's objectives of providing equitable access to services while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment free from discrimination and harassment. The Policy outlines the fees, priorities, and conditions of use for spaces available at the Library. The goal is to maintain a high level of usage and provide space for groups/individuals so that they may achieve their own goals and objectives.

Modifications to Room Rental Use during COVID-19

  • Capacities for all meeting rooms have been reduced to allow for physical distancing. 
  • Masks must be worn at all times during meetings and events. 
  • Any person visiting the Library to participate in a meeting or event as a result of a room rental will be actively screened for COVID-19, and contact tracing will be conducted, as per provincial regulations (October 22, 2021).
