Book Review Program
If you love reading, this is the perfect way to get some volunteer hours! We’re looking for readers to do book photography, write reviews, and participate in reading programs throughout the year.

Mandatory training: September 17, 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Audley Branch

Le Club Français
Support and run programming and activities for school-aged children and read with small groups of younger reading buddies in French! Must be able to read and communicate in French fluently at a minimum of Grade 9 level.

Mandatory training: September 19, 2:30–4 p.m. at Main Branch

Older Adults Advisory Committee Volunteers 
If you are 55+ and a resident of Ajax, the Library needs you! We are looking for members to form our 2027–2028 Older Adults Advisory Committee. By becoming a member, you will have a chance to share your ideas on how the Library can prepare for a growing older adult population and provide services that are accessible to and inclusive of older residents with diverse needs.
