Herizon House is a 30-bed shelter for women and children fleeing abuse and violence. Staff from Herizon House will be onsite at the Main Branch on a monthly basis to offer services to women including:
- Crisis counselling
- Safety planning
- Referrals to community agencies
- Support with securing and maintaining safe housing
- Assistance applying for Ontario Works, ODSP, and budgeting
- Support navigating the family law system
