55+ Amateur Short Story Contest
Get your creative juices flowing! The Ajax Public Library Older Adults Advisory Committee and the Town of Ajax Recreation & Culture Older Adults Task Force are pleased to bring you the fifth annual 55+ Amateur Short Story Contest.
This year’s theme is “A Recipe for Happiness.” Pick up a brochure at any of our branches beginning on September 1, 2026, or download a copy here.
The contest deadline is October 31, 2026. Winners will be announced in November.
2026 55+ Ajax Amateur Photography Contest
Contest runs Monday, June 1–Monday, August 31
The Ajax Public Library Older Adults Advisory Committee, in partnership with the Town of Ajax Older Adult Task Force, is excited to announce the fifth annual 55+ Amateur Photography Contest.
This year, we are asking participants to submit photos centred around Ajax, so get out your cameras and explore our great Town! For more information and to enter, visit ajax.ca. Winners will be announced in the fall.
