The Ajax Public Library and Town of Ajax are proud to host the Beyond Barriers Art Show celebrating creativity, resilience, and diverse perspectives. Ajax artists of all ages who identify as persons with disabilities are invited to submit artwork for display in this special exhibition.
What would it mean to live a life without barriers? How can we use art to confront ableism and honour the lived experience of those of us who encounter it everyday? Register to join the LivingRoom Community Art Studio for an afternoon of free, mixed media art making and poetry creation as we explore the theme of "No Limits" in the lead up to the Beyond Barriers Art Show in honour of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. All materials will be provided, all ages and abilities are welcome!
