BlackLit Durham is a bimonthly literary arts event produced by the Canadian Black Literary Festival and supported by the St. Francis Centre. BlackLit Durham is designed to showcase, highlight, amplify, and celebrate Black Canadian literary voices of all genres in their full splendour and diversity. Witness readings and performances from local talent, featuring: storyteller and public speaker Kesha Christie, author Craig Shreve, spoken word poet and author Shakkoi Hibbert, and hosted by Africanthology editor, educator, activist, and artist Greg Frankson.

Hosted in partnership with the St. Francis Centre in Pickering Village.
