Appointed by Ajax Town Council, the Ajax Public Library is governed by a nine (9) member Board, including eight (8) residents and one (1) Councillor. 

Holiday Hours

Please note that all locations of Ajax Public Library will be closed for the following observances:

• Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25, 2024)
• Boxing Day (Thursday, December 26, 2024)
• New Year's Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2025)

Modified hours (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) will be in effect at Main Branch on Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24, 2024) and New Year's Eve (Tuesday, December 31, 2024).
