Are you curious about writing poetry? Join Clare and Stephanie as they lead you through an exploration of poetry. Beginner or experienced participants are welcome to write in any genre they prefer. This is a safe and fun place to open up the poet in you and fall in love with poetry.

Sound Healing Workshop

Learn about sound healing, a technique that uses vibrations, music, and instruments to enhance well-being. Participants will explore mindfulness exercises, and there will be an opportunity to try out the instruments used in the practice, such as gongs, drums, and chimes.

Presented by Indigenous musician, John Standingready, a Lakota singer and flutist from White Bear First Nation.

Attend a Q&A session followed by a chess simul exhibition with Woman Grandmaster Anna Burtasova. Anna Burtasova, a Russian-born Canadian chess player, was awarded the title of Woman Grandmaster by FIDE in 2009, gaining all three of her norms in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
